BKT is made up mostly of Keratin. Keratin is a protein that makes up 88% of the hairs composition. Keratin is what makes the hair appear shiny and strong. Keratin is lost through out time. This is due to coloring, highlighting, relaxing, and styling (blow-drying) hair. This product penetrates the cuticle of the hair and smoothes out the roughness of the cuticle.

By using a 450 degree flat iron to seal in product, your hair appears as if it you were born with smooth hair silky hair. This product does contain 2% of formaldehyde, which is completely safe. The formaldehyde is solely used for longevity. Unlike other products in the market, such as the Japanese thermal reconditioning, the BKT conditions and straightens hair with out having to restructure the hair.

The process takes approximately 1 ½ to 4 hours, depending, on hair length and density (thickness). This treatment is not permanent. It will naturally fade out of the hair but, leaving it smoother. The wave or curl will gradually start to appear within 2 to 4 months depending on how often you wash your hair. Also depending on how porous (damaged) your hair is.



After procedure is done you must wait 4 days before washing your hair.

4 Day Do’s and Don’ts
  • Do not use any styling products
  • Do not use and clips scrunchies or hair pins
  • Do not wet hair
  • Do use silk scarf to pull back hair while sleeping
  • Do use a shower cap when showering
  • Do flat iron your hair if you see a bend

    • Four days after procedure has been done, you will wash your hair with a chloride free shampoo and conditioner. Style as desired!
